LANternTech recently participated in The Big Goal Midlands Regional Finals, a significant event aimed at supporting homeless and disadvantaged youth through football. As founding members of The Street Soccer Foundation, we were honored to contribute to such a noble cause and showcase our commitment to community empowerment.
The tournament, held at Nottingham’s Forest Sports Zone on Friday, 26th April, brought together companies from the ICT industry to compete on the pitch while advocating for social change.
LANternTech’s players demonstrated remarkable skill and sportsmanship throughout the event, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and solidarity. While we may not have emerged as champions this time, our team’s dedication and passion left a lasting impression. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to BDR Group for their victory in the final, and to all the teams who participated.
LANternTech is immensely proud to be part of The Big Goal initiative, which not only fosters healthy competition but also fosters meaningful connections and drives positive change in society. The event was a testament to the collective efforts of companies committed to making a difference in the lives of homeless and disadvantaged young adults.
“Participating in The Big Goal Midlands Regional Finals was an incredible experience for LANternTech. It was inspiring to see our team come together, not just to compete, but to support such a meaningful cause. The passion and dedication shown by all the players truly exemplify our company values of teamwork and community engagement. We are immensely proud to be part of this initiative and look forward to continuing our efforts in making a positive impact on society.” – Jenny Holt, LANtern Tech, CEO
